Every year in October, Orlando hosts Come Out With Pride to celebrate and give visibility to our region’s LGBTQ+ community. Saturday is jam-packed with the Pride Festival, Pride March and live performances all day. Now on Sunday, we invite you to keep the weekend going by participating in our inaugural Come Out With Pride Sand Volleyball Tournament at Festival Park.
The Tournament is hosted by OUT Sports League and the Central Florida Softball League, two of the largest LGBTQ+ organizations in Florida in partnership with Come Out With Pride and the City of Orlando. 100% of all proceeds will go to support Come Out With Pride and the Central Florida Softball League, both are LGBTQ+ non profit 501(c)(3) organizations.
Tournament Details
This is a charity fundraising sand volleyball tournament focused on allies and members of the LGBTQ+ community benefiting Come Out With Pride. The tournament will take place on October 22, 2023 at Festival Park.
All teams will play 4-5 round robin sets to 25 points. The top 8 teams in each division will advance to a single elimination tournament. 1st, 2nd and 3rd place medals will be awarded for each division.
TOURNAMENT (12pm - 4pm on October 22)
All teams are 4v4, all players must rotate
16 team maximum, teams must have 5 or more players
You can register as a Team Captain or a Team Player (if you’ve been invited to a team) or as an Individual player and we will place you on a team. All are welcome to play, no skill is needed.
